Pixar disney

I know I am little late commenting on this. But I am not a commentator.

Anyway, I can make some observations. I havent spoken to any friends at pixar so i dont know what their take it. But I think this just means good news for the industry. I cant interpret it as anything but good. I think this gives the industry a great sense of direction. The focus has been reinforced on quality and storytelling as is sometimes forgotten.

Raise a glass to the future of the greatest art ever!

cheers

Are you sure about that? I hear the opinion and get the impression that it may change the way Pixar once was. Lesser/cheaper people may start to blend into the place due to Disney's control, and this may ultimately have global effects on the company. Example, some producer or director at Disney could just be 'in the mood' to work at Pixar, but that doesn't mean he's qualified. That could not only effect the direction and quality of the stories, but also hurt moral that was once Pixar. I don't want to be pessimistic, just realistic. Time will tell I guess. Oh yea, by the way..in case anyone who is pro-only..um...Macintosh (Mr. Jobs); know this. Steve Jobs has always and will always be a buisness man that only cares about the next best money maker or idea...for himself. He jumps from opportunity to opportunity and has from what I've seen, no sense of commitment to building on a great thing.
